What is Drive Electric Week?
Drive Electric Week was started in 2011 as National Plug-In Day, but decided to change its name to better reflect its overall mission. It features events nationwide, where visitors include local drivers and advocates, and events include EV parades, ride-and-drives, tailgate parties, award ceremonies and more. Events will be taking place nationwide, running from September 10th through the 18th.

Are there any Drive Electric Week events in the Phoenix area?
EV drivers, you’re in luck! There is a National Drive Electric Week event at the Scottsdale Pavilions, and visitors will learn all about EV models, learn how to locate the more than 500 Phoenix-area charging stations, and see other all-electric models such as the BMW i3 and Tesla S.

What is Nissan doing for National Drive Electric Week?
In addition to offering terrific incentives on the best-selling 2016 Nissan LEAF, qualified Nissan LEAF owners will receive an EZ-Charge card offering two years of unlimited 30-minute complimentary DC Fast charges, as well as 60-minute Level 2 charges at participating No Charge to Charge stations. The EZ-Charge card allows access to multiple different charging networks, including AeroVironment, Blink, CarCharging, ChargePoint, and NRGeVgo.
In addition to these offerings, Nissan has also updated the LEAF EZ-Charge app, which gives access to more than 22,000 public charging stations across the United States. Using this app, you can easily plan a trip, see which charging stations are in use, and find out which stations offer high-power DC Charging.
