It’s almost Father’s Day, people! That means that it’s time to plan some exciting events to enjoy with Dear Ol’ Dad, and we’re here to help. Take in a Diamondbacks game — Chase Field, Phoenix
What better way to enjoy your father’s company than a little “Take Me Out to the Ballgame”? The D’backs are in town that weekend, taking on the San Diego Padres. Attend on June 21st, which is Father’s Day proper, and you can be one of 10,000 dads to receive a “Dbacks Dad” tshirt!
Go see “Young Frankenstein” — Fountain Hills Theater, Fountain Hills
“It’s alive!!” We all remember the classic Mel Brooks film starring Gene Wilder, and this is the musical based on that legendary picture. If you’re looking for an excuse to enjoy some yuk-yuks with your dad this year, you could do so much worse than this.
Enjoy “a nice walk spoiled” — Area golf courses
There are so many golf courses in our area, it would be impossible for us to simply suggest one. So, instead, here’s a list. It’s a great way to enjoy your dad’s company and engage in some light and friendly competition. If you like, you may also want to gift your dad a gift of a golf lesson; that way, he won’t be embarrassed at next year’s Father’s Day golf round.
Bring him in for a test drive — Avondale Nissan
