Nissan Rogue “Off the Stage” Promotion
In this space, we’ve filled a pretty solid amount of space talking shop about the 2014 Nissan Rogue. We’ve hit on its great safety features, its excellent redesign and its highly functional interior space. However, with the recently released Nissan “Off the Stage” Promotion, we get to see the Nissan Rogue perform an undertaking all its own. “Sure, the Rogue is a good commuter vehicle,” the promotion suggests, “but can it successfully deliver a band to the mountains and power a mini-performance?” And to that the Rogue responds, “Yes, yes I can.”
Starring folk-pop wunderkinds Local Natives, Nissan’s “Off the Stage” Promotion sees the band taking a two-Rogue caravan into what looks to be the Southern California foothills, lamenting along the way that they “haven’t played very many deserts.” And, in a matter of minutes, we see just how functional the 2014 Nissan Rogue can be.
Out come the instruments. The band uses the available power and connectivity options found within the vehicle to push their sound, plugging various apparati into the available auxiliary, USB and power outlets. They then use the versatile rear storage to make a shelf to hold their miniature speakers before bursting into a stirring rendition of their hit single “Breakers.”
In only about four minutes, we see two vastly different forms or adaptability in the 2014 Nissan Rogue. First, we see as it uses its agile 2.5L four-cylinder engine to capably transport the Local Natives across all terrains into the foothills, and then we see as the Rogue uses its interior functionality to actually become something of a stage for a rock band. For a variety of duties and in all sorts of situations, the 2014 Nissan Rogue continues to prove that it’s up to the task.
The 2014 Nissan Rogue is now available at Avondale Nissan, located just west of downtown Phoenix, AZ. And, if you enjoy the musical stylings of Local Natives and feel like taking a roadtrip in your new Rogue, they perform around the country all summer, including shows in California in August and September!
Take it away, Local Natives!
