Football season is fully upon us in Arizona, and Nissan has taken notice. We’ve just received the newest slate of Nissan Heisman House ads, an annual tradition where college football greats get together to live in harmony, all while wearing their old football jerseys. (Will Scooby Wright join them next year after he returns from surgery? Heal up quickly, Scooby!) Here are some of our favorites of the 2015 Nissan Heisman House ads; which do you prefer?

One of the ongoing themes of the Heisman House ads through the years has been the rivalry between certain teams and players, with Michigan and Ohio State often poking each other playfully. Why not go back to the well? We enjoy Charles Woodson’s gentle arrogance, and can’t help but agree with his closing zinger: “Nice bush.” (Speaking of which, don’t expect to see Reggie Bush in these ads….)
“Tour Bus”
We’ve gotta give the Pac-12 (formerly Pac-10 and Pac-8) a little love, don’t you agree? And this one actually comes with a little reading between the lines, which is always fun. In it, we see 1970 Heisman winner Jim Plunkett noting (along with Herschel Walker) that Joe Theismann is on the passing tour bus. There’s some subtext here: Theismann was runner-up to Plunkett for the award, and it’s long been rumored that he changed the pronunciation of his last name to make it more similar to Heisman. Fun had by all!
“Just Go With It”
We’ll give this one the nod just for the sheer saturation of former Heisman winners in attendance. Poor Marcus Mariota can’t seem to get his head around the fantastical situation where cars never get dirty, ham is always available, and RGIII is actually happy. So, in a “He’s onto us” twist, he’s placated with ice cream. Sounds reasonable to us.
