Awesome Autumn: Pumpkin Patches and Orchards near Phoenix

It’s that time of year again at Avondale Nissan: the time when we regularly update our readers of all of the fall fun that Phoenix has to offer. We’re going to start this off right, with a little rundown of some of the family-friendly, outdoorsy places we know of. So, to make your fall event planning a little easier, here’s a list of a few pumpkin patches and orchards near Phoenix that you can add to your itinerary!

Pumpkin Patches and Orchards near Phoenix

MacDonald’s Ranch | Scottsdale

Let’s start with one of the places that truly knows how to welcome all ages the whole year round. MacDonald’s Ranch does fall right with a petting zoo, a gold mine, hayrides and a pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch is open for the entire month of October, with admission running for $10 on weekdays and $12 on weekends.

Tolmachoff Farms | Glendale

This one truly offers both ends of the pumpkin/orchard spectrum, which rightly makes it one of the area’s favorite destinations this time of year. Corn maze? Check. Petting zoo? Check. Pumpkin patch? Of course. Fresh produce? It’s right there in the name. And of course, on weekends in October, the maze becomes the haunted Field of Screams. It’s just $9 to enter the farm, with additional rates to enter the haunted maze.

Vertuccio Farms | Mesa

If you’re willing to head to Mesa, one of the metro area’s finest and most vast attractions awaits. As part of its Fall Festival starting September 26th, Vertuccio Farms has a seven-acre corn maze, a petting zoo, duck races, and so much more that we couldn’t possibly list it all. This is in addition to the pumpkin patch and regular attractions. This place is awesome. Just sayin’.

Mother Nature’s Farm | Gilbert

The New Times ranked the Pumpkin Patch at Mother Nature’s Farm as the best in the entire state for last year, which is no small praise given the other awesome places on this list. One of the highlights of this patch is that the $10 admission fee includes a pumpkin and hayride, so it’s a real steal in terms of bang for your buck. The patch is open from October 1st through the 31st.
See, wasn’t that fun? Now you’ve already got every weekend in October scheduled, and you didn’t even have to do any of the Google legwork! You can thank us next time you’re at Avondale Nissan!
