So Much To Love: The 2015 Nissan Altima

Have you seen the 2015 Nissan Altima? A vehicle that regularly ranks among the industry leaders in customer satisfaction, ease of ownership, and is described by Edmunds.com as a vehicle that “continues to be a top choice among family sedans” due to its “rare blend of comfort and agility,” it definitely needs no introduction. However, some of its finer features tend to slip under the radar, so we’re going to start discussing the features of our favorite vehicles in a regular blog that we’ll call “So Much To Love.” Not surprisingly, we’ll be beginning with the 2015 Nissan Altima.

The Nissan Safety Shield Technology Suite. As with all of Nissan’s 2015 vehicles, the Altima starts things out with what is most important: safety. The Safety Shield Suite uses a three-tiered approach to accident prevention, protection and response, and the results can’t be overstated. And, since each Altima offers standard features such as a full airbag suite, traction and stability control, and antilock brakes, while an array of crash mitigation technology features are available as well.
The NissanConnect Apps and Navigation System. Coming from my modest upbringing, I had always been a driver who wasn’t particularly concerned with bells and whistles as far as my vehicle was concerned. With the NissanConnect Apps System, however, it finally felt as though I might have been missing something. Connect to social media, access your navigation or stream music, all through your smartphone. And, since it’s hands-free, you’ll always be safe as well.
The Advanced Drive-Assist Display. Following up on what we said above, this Advanced Drive-Assist Display is a piece of tech that puts all of your driving information right in front of your face, directly on your instrument panel. Projecting information such as performance figures, radio information and your turn-by-turn navigation, you now don’t need to pull your eyes away from the road to get a great idea of what’s happening around you.
The Absolutely Bonkers Fuel-Economy Numbers. No discussion of the 2015 Nissan Altima is complete without talking about its excellent fuel economy, and we’d be remiss to avoid it here. The Altima achieves an otherworldly 38 highway mpg in its four-cylinder variant, while the more muscular 3.5L V6 option achieves a remarkable 32 highway mpg. And how does it outpace all of its competitors? By using good ol’ ingenuity; that’s how. It’s lighter and more aerodynamic than its competitors, and it shows.
So are you ready to experience this outstanding vehicle first-hand? Well, we at Avondale Nissan would love to show it to you! Pay us a visit today to take your 2015 Nissan Altima for a test drive!
