2015 Nissan LEAF Features Phoenix AZ

We’re back with our “So Much To Love” blog series! If this is your first time here, this is a place where we take a look at some of our favorite vehicles–as we already have with the 2015 Nissan Altima and the 2015 Nissan Murano–and get a better idea of what it is that makes them so wonderful. Today, we’re taking a look at our favorite features in the 2015 Nissan LEAF, America’s most popular electric vehicle. Let’s get to it!

The Terrific Technology. A vehicle as innovative as the LEAF had better have some great technology behind it, and to that end, allow us to introduce the LEAF’s Nissan Navigation System. All projected on a crystal-clear touchscreen, the Navigation system provides much more than just maps. Also available are information regarding energy usage, which can be adjusted on the fly. Additionally, you can pull up nearby charging stations complete with turn-by-turn decorations, so you’ll never be without a quick plug-in.
The Many Phoenix-Area Charging Locations. Phoenix has been on the shortlist of the most popular areas for the LEAF, with the No Charge to Charge program famously getting an early rollout here. All told, there are over 750 charging stations in Arizona, more are being added all the time, and the PlugShare smartphone app makes them extremely easy to find. What more could you want?
No Fill-Ups, No Oil Changes. This doesn’t get nearly enough press, does it? Can you imagine a future where gas stations are purely necessary only for snacks? Or where you never have to get an oil change, or a radiator flush, or have a timing belt replaced? You probably can’t. However, with the Nissan LEAF, many of the most expensive maintenance issues are totally eradicated from your schedule.
The Spacious Interior. Let’s be plain here: when you don’t waste room on a radiator or a transmission, it frees up quite a bit of space. That’s why the LEAF can easily fit up to five adults, why it’s more spacious than a conventional gas-powered subcompact, and why there’s so much room for clever cubbies in the rear. And, since there’s a 60/40-split seat in back as well, you have easy access to the whole vehicle as well!
