What's new with the 2018 Nissan Leaf?

2018 Nissan Leaf performance and interior features

Electric vehicles have a firm hold on the automotive market, consistently wowing consumers with their commitments to efficiency, innovation, and bold design throughout. However, throughout the years there has only been one that’s proven its ability to lead the pack in all of these phases. We’re talking about the Nissan Leaf, which returns for the new model year with some awesome new upgrades to both its drivetrain and its stellar interior. Come with our Avondale Nissan team today as we take you through the 2018 Nissan Leaf performance and interior features!

Nissan Intelligent Driving and Power features

As part of Nissan Intelligent Driving technology, the 2018 Leaf will bring new auras of control into the fold. For starters, you can count on ProPILOT Assist to keep the Leaf centered within your lane; if you get too close to another vehicle in traffic, your Leaf can automatically apply the brakes, greatly reducing the threat of a collision! In addition, with the Leaf’s new e-Pedal feature, you can both accelerate and brake just by using your gas pedal. It’s these two innovations combined that give the Leaf more convenience than many competitors are equipped to provide.

With Nissan Intelligent Power, the Leaf brings a spirited, fun-filled driving experience to the daily commute. An all-new e-powertrain allows the 2018 Leaf to produce up to 147 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, greatly improving the off-the-line speed you can expect. Also, with an upgraded lithium-ion battery pack, your overall driving range increases to 150 miles! That’s just one more way that the 2018 Leaf can take the hassles of fuel stations out of your daily drive.

2018 Nissan Leaf interior innovation and comfort amenities

Stepping inside the 2018 Leaf provides a new feeling of openness, comfort, and luxury throughout. Blue-stitched leather seats provide fitting accents to this new interior, which also includes a Multi-Information Display, centrally-located touchscreen interface, and smartphone integration!
