Kaboom! 4th of July Events and Fireworks near Phoenix

It seems like so long ago that we were telling you how to celebrate Independence Day 2014, doesn’t it? Well, the 2015 edition is back at Avondale Nissan, so let’s get right to it. This is our list of 4th of July Events and Fireworks near Phoenix AZ for 2015, brought to you by the hippest little Nissan outfit in the entire southwest. Come see us soon, once you’re all fireworks’d out.

Fabulous Phoenix Fourth — Steele Indian School Park, Phoenix — July 4th, 6pm
We begin where most Phoenix area residents’ planning also begins, with the Fabulous Phoenix Fourth. This event combines many of our favorite things: a classic car show, live music, food and drink vendors, and then wraps it all up with one of the best fireworks shows you’re going to see anywhere. It’s free of admission and fun for all ages.
July 4th Tempe Town Lake Festival — Tempe Beach Park, Tempe — July 4th, 5pm
Our Independence Day tour continues down the road in Tempe, where the 63rd Annual Kiwanis Club Fireworks Spectacular will be taking place. The party is in Tempe Beach Park, where cost of admission is $5 in advance, or $8 at the gate. There’s live music, beer gardens, rock climbing walls, kids entertainment, and much more. Get there early for a full day of terrific food, fun and activities!
4th of Zooly — Phoenix Zoo — July 4th, 7pm
Combine two of our great loves — animals and fireworks — into one with this exciting addition to the Phoenix 4th of July calendar. There’s obviously fun for the whole family — it is a zoo, after all — and access to portions of the zoo that you might not normally see. A BBQ dinner is also included in the price of admission, while beer and wine are available for sale. Then, when the Tempe Beach fireworks show begins, you can watch from our special VIP viewing area!
Red, White and Rawhide — Chandler — July 4th and 5th
We went to this last year, and it was an absolute blast. It’s essentially a two-day western-themed Independence Day celebration, and it isn’t to be missed. Great food, great music, great attractions — this one has it all. If you’re willing to make the drive — and we won’t lie, it did get a little expensive — it’s truly something a little different to do on the Fourth.
We hope that these events help you have fun and festive Fourth of July, and of course we ask that you stay safe. Come see us soon at Avondale Nissan!
