Now that the Super Bowl and the Phoenix Open are officially on the way out of town, we can look forward to life returning to normal in the areas immediately surrounding Avondale Nissan. It was a fun weekend, to be sure, with Nissan making its presence known both on the city streets with models such at the 2015 Murano, and on the television broadcast with the highly-touted #WithDad advertising campaign. On a more newsworthy level, however, there was a particularly exciting moment during Nissan’s “Cats in the Cradle” commercial that eagle-eyed viewers caught right away: a brief cameo from the 2016 Nissan Maxima.

After months of conjecture and spy shots showing it cruising around Nissan’s Arizona performance headquarters, we’ve finally seen the real deal: the 2016 Nissan Titan has arrived at Detroit’s North American International Auto Show, and it is impressive to say the least. It’s been fully redesigned, it has an all-new powertrain, and it’s seems primed to take the full-size light-duty pickup segment by storm. Even if we’re only now welcoming many of the 2015 models to our Phoenix-area dealership, some news is simply too exciting to ignore. We have mentioned before that the Nissan Maxima might be receiving a thorough redesign for the 2016 model year, and now certain rumors are supporting the notion that it might actually be based on the so-called Nissan Sport Sedan concept first seen at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. We at Avondale Nissan generally try to avoid getting too excited about concept vehicles, mostly because we’ve been hurt before. We’ve fallen in love with vehicles that clearly were meant to turn the heads of fanboys and autobloggers, and ones that only had a miniscule chance of realistically seeing a showroom any time soon, if at all. However, we aren’t made of stone, as was made obvious with the Sao Paulo Motor Show’s release of the Nissan Kicks Concept vehicle.

2015 Nissan Versa Sedan Release Date

We’re already reaching the point in the year where we begin seeing early examples of the 2015 Nissan models, and we gotta say, it’s cause for excitement around Avondale Nissan. Obviously, we remember that only last month we caught a first glimpse of the 2015 Nissan Murano, the long-awaited redesign of Nissan’s stalwart crossover SUV. And, we figured, why not keep this party going?
