Christmas Events and Productions near Avondale AZ for 2017

Christmas is certainly one of our favorite holidays here in the Valley of the Sun; though the weather won’t give us any snow, the overall mood can’t be beat. There’s love, good feelings and an energy of anticipation and excitement all around; better yet, everyone pretends to like the fruitcake!
The weather around Phoenix this time of year got us thinking of Bikini Bottom, and with this in mind, we invite you to join our Avondale Nissan at some awesome Christmas Events and Productions near Avondale AZ for 2017 that SpongeBob would also love; you might just get to meet Santa! He’s just like a genie, you know.

Alice Cooper’s Christmas Pudding

Alice Cooper is a legend, both in the shock rock scene and the entire Phoenix area. Every December, he and some of his very best friends come by put on a spectacle of the coolest holiday rock n’ roll you’ve ever heard. All proceeds will benefit The Rock Teen Center, and while we can’t promise you’ll hear “The Very First Christmas to Me,” it’s sure to be a wonderful time for all! Even better than Plankton and the Patty Snatchers.

Ballet Arizona’s “The Nutcracker”

One of the most iconic moments in SpongeBob’s Christmas experience is watching Sandy describe the wonders of ballerinas and nutcrackers, as well as all the love of the season. You’ll also be able to share in this love, as Ballet Arizona will be showing its production of “The Nutcracker,” one of the most famous plays of all time, all month! Join more than 150 performers in this all-out, incredible celebration.

ZooLights

As one of the largest holiday displays in the Southwest, ZooLights (with its over two and a half million light displays) helps to bring the Christmas spirit to life! Nothing compares to Squidward’s holiday getup, but there’s a definite close second at the Phoenix Zoo all December long!

Phoestivus

No, not like Festivus from Seinfeld, that’s something different. “Phoestivus” is one of the coolest displays you’ll see the city offer; hand-crafted gifts from over 130 different city vendors are yours for purchase, as well as food trucks, a beer garden, and the chance to meet Santa himself! You might even find a wood-crafted clarinet for that special someone.

Santa’s comin’ tonight, tonight! But be sure to check back to our local blog for more fun throughout 2018!
