Easter Egg Hunts in the Phoenix area 2015
It’s one of our favorite times of year, and now it’s almost here. Yes, it’s the Easter season in the Phoenix area, which means that many area children will soon be getting outside to hunt for Easter eggs. But where to go? Here are a few Easter egg hunts in the Phoenix area for you to consider, from your friends at Avondale Nissan!
Shamrock Farms Easter Egg Hunt — Shamrock Farms, Phoenix — Saturday-Sunday, March 28th-29th
Let’s go outside! Rather than simply putting eggs on a large patch of grass, the Shamrock Farms hunt makes the most of its surroundings, with farm tours, games, face painting and a visit with the Easter bunny. Cost is $9 per person, with dates available on both Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are recommended.
AJ Parks & Rec Easter Egg Hunt — Prospector Park, Apache Junction — Saturday, April 4th
If you’re willing to head outside of the Phoenix area, this is one for you to consider. Unlike many other egg hunts, the Apache Junction event has age groups extending all the way up to 16 & over, meaning that this truly is an all-ages event. It also features game booths, a petting zoo, bounce houses and train rides.
Free Easter Egg Hunt — Enchanted Island, Phoenix — Saturday-Sunday, April 4th-5th
Who doesn’t enjoy Enchanted Island? Now you can also enjoy Easter at our Phoenix-area amusement park, with two days of egg hunts for all ages, 1-10. All eggs feature a prize inside, with 20 Grand Prize eggs as well. Hunters are encouraged to visit their own baskets, and the Easter Bunny will be available for pictures from 10am-3pm.
Downtown Mesa Easter Egg Hunt — Mesa Arts Center — Friday, April 3rd
This event truly has something for everyone, mostly due to the fact that it combines the thrill of an Easter egg hunt with the area’s terrific shopping. There will be over 24,000 eggs hidden in and around the Mesa Arts Center, and they’ll have candy, toys, coupons, gift certificates and prizes inside. There will also be opportunities to meet the Easter Bunny, with face painting and snow cones available as well.
