1) Wash Your Car. You’d be surprised how many trade-ins that look, um, a little tired. However, putting a fresh shine on your car is the easiest way to boost its trade-in value. Vacuum the interior, wash the wheels and tires, and take a little time to make it look its best.
2) Fix Little Dents. Anything you can do prior to the trade-in day to save eventual work for the dealer will help. That includes fixing a few of the little things, such as door dents.
