Gift Ideas for Car Lovers

Now that Thanksgiving is firmly in our rearview mirror, we are on to the next thing: holiday gifts. Regardless of your family background, you will likely be getting gifts in the coming weeks for the people you love, for no other reason than, well, that’s what we’re supposed to do, right? So what if you have a car lover on your list of deserving recipients? Here are four gift ideas for the car lover in your life!

1) GoPro

Gift Ideas for Car LoversIf you have a friend or loved one that is crazy about racing or track days, or prone to taking their vehicle into off-road situations, then a GoPro is a must. It’s a mountable camera that takes high-quality videos, shooting at speeds of 30 frames per second at 1080p. And, with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, it’s extremely easy for sharing with friends.

2) Power Wheels

We aren’t sure if you can call an adorable child an “auto enthusiast,” but most of us grew up fascinated by cars in some way. The most logical extension of this childlike wonder was the Power Wheels, which put children behind the wheel of a battery-powered hot rod of their own.

3) Video Games

Every year, we welcome a new crop of outstanding car-related video games, and this year is no different. Some of the favorites for this year include Forza Horizon 2 (available on Xbox One and 360) and Need for Speed: Rivals and Grand Theft Auto 5, each of which is available for Xbox One and Playstation 4. For those among us who prefer the Nintento Wii U, meanwhile, you can’t go wrong with Super MarioKart 8.

4) Racetrack Coasters

Do you have a friend or family member who enjoys racing almost as much as they enjoy hosting parties at their home? For this person, the ideal gift might be a set of coasters from Linear Edge, who makes coasters (and other items) showing the outline of some iconic racetracks including Monte Carlo, the Nurburgring, and Road America.
Have some ideas now? We hope that these assist you in your gift-giving; these have to be better than calendars or socks, right? Happy holidays from Avondale Nissan!
