Haunted Houses in the Phoenix Area

Let’s keep the fall train going, shall we? If you haven’t noticed, we at Avondale Nissan are thoroughly enjoying the fall season thus far, with tips and tricks ranging from car preparation to helping your kids stay safe during trick-or-treating. And now, we’re back with some fun for the adults in the area, with four of our favorite haunted houses in the Phoenix area. Enter at your own risk!

House of Screams…and Wicked Dreams — Phoenix — Some of the most fun haunted houses are the ones that employ a storyline to follow, which helps to make the terror a little more tangible. That’s the hook for the House of Screams, which tells the tale of an escaped mental patient–Isn’t it always an escaped mental patient?–who is terrorizing the area. An added bonus: much of the proceeds are donated to charity. Regular admission price: $20
Haunted Houses Phoenix AZRob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare — Scottsdale — Anyone familiar with Rob Zombie or his movies will have a pretty good idea what to expect from this one: great effects, a genuine taste of the bizarre and macabre, and commitment from the actors involved. This one features three distinct haunted houses, each with its own theme. Regular admission price: $25 online/$30 at the door
Chambers of Fear — Surprise — One of the largest and most renowned haunted houses in the area, Chambers of Fear features three houses as well. It’s among the most nationally recognized haunted houses to be found anywhere, with accolades coming in from Travel Channel and MSNBC, among others. Regular admission price: $23
Fear Farm — West Phoenix — This might be our overall favorite for all-out scares. The Fear Farm is massive, with five different haunts, as well as a midway and a corn maze. The diversity of the scares is also excellent, with zombies, chainsaw-wielding maniacs, and much more. Don’t miss this one. Regular admission price: From $24.99 to $28.99, depending on the day
So, ready to go be frightened out of your wits? We certainly are. And once it’s all over, pay us a visit at Avondale Nissan and let us know how your fall is going!
