Many among us are currently in the process of finding our yearly conifer, and there are a number of great farms near Glendale and Peoria that are worthy of our time. But where are the best places to look? Here are a few spots to find live Christmas trees in our area; enjoy, and come see us at Avondale Nissan soon!
Tim Mitchell’s Christmas Trees offers locations in both Scottsdale and Gilbert, and has been selling Christmas trees to Arizonans since 1950! Just for the legacy alone, they deserve your attention. They currently offer five different varieties of fir tree, along with an assortment of special trees for residential or commercial needs.
The Valley View Christmas Tree farms can be found throughout Arizona, with more than a half-dozen locations right here in the Phoenix area. They currently offer four different varieties of trees, including Noble Fir, Grand Fir, Douglas Fir and Nordman Fir. They also artificial snow “flocking,” to make it appear as though snow is on the branches, along with available Christmas wreaths.
Mother Nature’s Farm has made its name during the fall harvest season, when its Pumpkin Patch takes center stage. However, it’s also a fun resource in the winter, when Douglas Fir and live, Arizona-grown Eldarica Pine trees make their appearance. Mother Nature’s Farm also features a “Snow Day” on Saturday, December 10th, when kids can enjoy a day of snow-tubing right here in Arizona.
Now entering its 36th year of Christmas-themed goodness, the people of Mast-Roth are back for 2016 to offer an abundance of trees for Phoenix-area revelers. They offer over 20 locations throughout the area, each of which sells Douglas Fir, Noble Fir, Grand Fir, Fraser Fir and Nordmann Fir. Tours and bouncy castles are offered as well!
