The Nissan Titan Warrior Concept is the Coolest Thing You'll See Today

2016 Toyota Camry Horsepower

We’ve already detailed the 2016 Nissan Titan in depth here at Avondale Nissan, which is noteworthy in and of itself since it’s about to arrive at our Phoenix-area dealership. However, with the North American International Auto Show going on right now in Detroit, so leave it to Nissan to up the ante even further. We’ve received a first look at the Nissan Titan Warrior Concept, and believe us when we say that should it ever see production, we’ll be the first in line to buy one for ourselves.

First off, let’s talk about its off-road-ready cladding. As part of its “Project Titan” crowd-sourced customization drive, the Titan Warrior concept goes for a stealth, robotic look, with the grille and signature Titan headlights getting enhanced to look even more menacing than usual. Hood vents have also been added to help cool the diesel engine — which we’ll get to in a moment — and a large front skidplate has been affixed to the front bumper. New custom LED lights have been added to the front and rear, while the integrated LED taillights form the Titan “T” logo. Rounding out the expressive styling is a quad-tipped exhaust system integrated right into the rear bumper.

As we mentioned, the Titan Warrior Concept is intended to go off-road, and Nissan has ensured that this is much more than just a possibility. The Titan Warrior takes on different dimensions than its civilian Titan counterpart, taking in six inches of width and being raised three inches as well. This allows the Titan Warrior to run on 37-inch off-road tires mounted on custom 18-inch aluminum-alloy rims, fitted with all-new, long-travel suspension. And, since it’s powered by the famed Cummins 5.0L Turbo-Diesel, there’s no climb or trail that can’t be conquered with ease.

Of course, it’s the unique body paint that has gotten us talking here at Avondale, with its custom matte-gunmetal “Thunder” paint accented with “Magma” orange and jet-black highlights. It all comes together to present a package that we can only hope will emerge from Nissan’s concept wing and join us in reality at our Phoenix-area dealership.
Until that day comes, we can take solace in the fact that the 2016 Nissan Titan will be arriving any day now at Avondale Nissan. To learn more about this awesome full-size pickup or to schedule your test drive, visit our dealership today!
