In recent months, you might say that we’ve gone plumb crazy for the 2016 Nissan Titan. The same can also be said of the 2016 Nissan Frontier, which is the midsize pickup in our lineup. But while these two vehicles are certainly vastly different, they share one common characteristic that is certainly worth mentioning: the ability to add the Nissan Utili-Track Cargo System. And what is the Nissan Utili-Track Cargo System, you ask? Well, we’re certainly happy to tell you.
Nissan Utili-Track Cargo System
One thing that we don’t talk about often is that the cargo bed of our trucks are there to basically endure the most unsavory jobs imaginable. Delivering payloads such as engines, wood, mulch, and lord knows what else. But what if there were a way to make all of this cargo-carrying easier? What if you could suddenly make the inconvenient nature of your task a total afterthought? That’s the goal of the Utili-Track Cargo System.
The Utili-Track Cargo System employs a set of channels and cleats to hold items in place, and the cleats can move, tighten down and screw in to secure even the heaviest loads. If you’re used to regularly turning around to check on what’s going on behind you, fuhgeddaboudit. Everything is exactly where it should be. The burly aluminum-alloy cleats and built-in tie-down loops keep awkward loads in place like never before. You also don’t need to worry about there being damage to the bed of your Frontier or Titan, since both can now be fitted with a factory-sprayed bedliner as well. For those of us who have been waiting for a truck bed that can truly blow us away, the wait is over.

Utili-Track Cargo System Accessories
We love accessories at Avondale Nissan, and the Utili-Track Cargo System comes with a few that deserve mentioning. Chief among them is the sliding bed divider, which is shown on the page here. It slips right into the cleats and channels, and then slides along to hold items in place and keep them from sliding around. Remember the mulch from before? You could theoretically carry a bed full of mulch, and still have a place to keep your coolers and propane tanks separated!
