No one ever gets back from a road trip and thinks, “That trip was good, but you know what would’ve made it great? More McDonald’s.” A good way to save money and become better acquainted with your surroundings is to bring plates, napkins and utensils, and stop at a grocery store on the way to pick up foodstuffs. Then, you can eat in a city park or at a rest area.
