What's New on the 2016 Nissan Sentra?

The compact car of your dreams is finally coming to the Phoenix area. Avondale Nissan will soon be the destination of the all-new 2016 Nissan Sentra, one of the most popular models in one of America’s favorite vehicle segments. It arrives with a host of new upgrades for 2016, as well as a number of tech and performance features that speak to the model’s evolution over the past several years. Let’s get to know what’s new on the 2016 Nissan Sentra, shall we?

What’s New on the 2016 Nissan Sentra?

All-New Design Cues

The last few years have seen many changes throughout the Nissan lineup, and this is true of the 2016 Sentra as well. The latest edition of the Sentra receives Nissan’s signature V-Motion grille (shared by such models as the Murano and Maxima), outlined by an awesome honeycomb pattern. The Sentra also adds a new, aerodynamic exterior silhouette, as well as redesigned LED headlights and available 17-inch alloy wheels.

The New SR Trim

In keeping with Nissan’s recent penchant for making everything look cooler than we thought possible, the new 2016 Nissan Sentra SR receives sporty upgrades throughout, the results of which can be seen in the photo above. A redesigned bumper and spoiler are joined by unique wheels and a chrome exhaust finish. To bring home a bit of inspired track style, the 2016 Nissan Sentra SR fits the bill.

A Welcoming Interior Cabin

Despite its status as a “compact” sedan, the 2016 Nissan Sentra is surprisingly roomy inside. Up to five occupants are greeted with spacious rear leg room, a 60/40-split rear seat and fold-down front passenger seat. Buyers can also appoint their purchase with available Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control, as well as an 8-speaker Bose audio system. And the new tech features are nothing to sneeze at, including the NissanConnect mobile apps interface and Advanced Drive Assist Display.

Performance for Days

The 2016 Nissan Sentra is powered by a 1.8L inline four-cylinder engine that is available to be paired with the streamlined Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), allowing drivers to achieve up to 40 highway mpg. The Sentra is also offered with push-button driving modes — Eco, Normal and Sport modes — while the retuned suspension offers improved handling for the model year.
The 2016 Nissan Sentra is coming early in 2016 to Avondale Nissan, and we’d already be happy to schedule your test drive. To view our new Sentra inventory or to inquire about financing information, visit our dealership today!
